Renaissance was founded in December 2011, as an acquirer and developer of legacy oil fields in the Gulf of Mexico. Between 2012 and 2014 Renaissance grew substantially with the acquisition of sixteen Gulf of Mexico producing fields, fiteen of which are operated and most are 100% owned. Renaissance specializes in production optimization and field development through drilling and workovers, with the goal of maximizing oil recovery in mature fields.
The Company’s current business strategy is to be uniquely positioned as a long-term investor in Gulf of Mexico “Shelf” assets with the intent of producing its fields to full depletion and final abandonment. The Company will continue to evaluate strategic acquisitions of properties that fit its profile.
